Members of our CPS team were privileged to recently attend The Banknote Conference, at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel in Texas, USA.

This event offered an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, peers and organisations, at the industry’s premier technology-focused conference.

Today we’re going to be highlighting and sharing the successes and positive feedback we received from being at this event, including the introduction of our newest banknote processing systems and shredder components, to the industry.

Introducing The Banknote Conference

The Banknote Conference is the industry’s premier technology-focused event, and has a long and rich history of hosting the world’s technology experts from central banks, printing works, and industry suppliers and providing an unparalleled opportunity to discuss emerging trends, technologies and innovations.*

The valuable expertise and experience shared, new ideas and technologies developed, and collaborations between industry leaders that begin at this event, will help to shape the future of the technology landscape, and we are thrilled to have been a part of that thriving environment.

Our experience at the event

This year, nearly 400 delegates from 183 organisations took part in the Banknote Conference, and we’re privileged to have been one of them.

Amongst our expert team involved was:

  • Angus, the Contracts Account Manager, with over 30 years professional experience, primarily focusing on the payments industry in the past decade.
  • David, Head of Engineering, bringing over 30 years of experience to the cash processing industry. He oversees the technical support and solution development for critical systems.
  • Rob, the Support Engineer, with 18 years of industry experience and expertise in software and hardware, he’s the go-to resource for clients facing complex technical issues.
  • Shawn, the Managing Director in Africa, who has an in-depth understanding of the processes involved in managing cash as well as the priorities and challenges faced by Central Banks, Commercial banks and CITs.
  • Satish, the Regional Director in America, bringing over 20 years of experience in cash processing, driving for growth and operational excellence across the region.

During this time, the team was busy sharing their knowledge on sustainable cash processing methods, as well as collaborating with other like-minded businesses involved in the conference.

From this event, we hope that the ever-growing awareness of CPS has shown the power of next generation processing equipment and solutions for those in the central banks, commercial processors and retailer industries.

We’re now looking forward to our next event, at the Independent Armored Car Operators Association Conference, taking place in June, held in Florida.
